In the heart of God’s own country lies the fairy land of the real world - Munnar. Pristine, untouched and conscientiously prepossessing. The blissful hues of the blues and greens, meeting at the horizon is a perfect amalgamation. The high flora-overloaded hills adjoining the sky, does look heavenly in its own ways. Hundreds of square kilometers covered in the lush green tea estates keeps reminding that you are in Kerala. The aroma of the tea gardens skirt the expanse.
There is abundance of stay options in and around the place. Beautiful home stays are at offer for tourists visiting Munnar. The stays are clean and virtuous, which enhances the overall experience of staying in a hill station. Food in general is a little extortionate, but is hygienic and appetizing. Cuisines of Kerala is a must try for tourists visiting Munnar for the first time. Fish, chicken and beef delicacies are readily on offer for the non-vegetarians.

Our Home Stay |
The mornings are frigid, making the task of detaching from the warm quilt a herculean task. The dewdrops embracing the tender viridescent tea leaves, is a pleasurable sight. It’s a prudent idea to carry sufficient warm clothing during a trip to any hill station, Munnar is no exception. Travelling on two wheels might require the extra bit of insulation as the wind chill is deadly at those altitude & temperatures. The mercury does rise marginally during the day, but drops exponentially with the night-fall. This part of the country receives substantial volume of rain fall throughout the year, so keeping rain gears handy is always prove to be a boon.
The roads are tapered with foliage on both sides. Being heedful during any type of vehicular operation is a good practice. One needs to be patient with heavy vehicles driving up-hills, as losing the momentum cannot be afforded on such steep inclinations. People are amiable & accommodating in spite of the prevalent language impediment.

Famous tourist spots around Munnar are flocked by tourists during the peak season. During off-seasons, the place is peaceful with trivial crowd. The major tourist spots are Anamudi Peak, Idduki Dam, Echo Point etc. The landscape itself is so glorious and magnificent that one doesn’t need a tourist spot to enjoy the terrain, beauty is everywhere! All one needs to do is just look around.
